The Role of Trustees

There has been a lot of discussion over the last several years about the role of School Board Trustees, and whether they help make the schools that they govern better or worse.  From my position as a Toronto District School Board Trustee from 2003 to 2014, I’ve seen both the good and bad sides of elected Trustees.  As a citizen committed to having the best possible Public schools I’ve given a great deal of thought about the pros and cons of the various ways to oversee the operations of our schools.  …. read more …..
